I wish to register my opposition to the inclusion of SuV20/h1 (land adjacent to Llwyn Henri) in the revised LDP. Porthyrhyd is a small village on the valley floor, within flood zones and with already existing sewerage and surface water problems. Any developments will further exacerbate this situation. Concern is also had to an increase in traffic levels in the village.
Remove from the Plan.

in the revised LDP2018 - 2033.
Porthyrhyd is a small village on the valley floor, within flood zones and with already existing
sewerage and surface water problems. Any developments will further exacerbate this
situation. i do not believe the water/sewerage system will cope with the extra housing.
The current level of traffic through the village is already causing untold damage to the road
surface. which is dangerous in itsetf. Further development with more regular traffic and the
extra volume will make this situation even worse. The resulting cost of repairs to the roads
will cause a further strain on council finances and ultimately the local ratepayers.

Disagree, the allocation of the site within the LDP for residential purposes has been subject to full consideration through the site assessment methodology. As part of this assessment process a detailed site pro forma has been prepared.
