Testun llawn:

Could I officially object to the location of Penyfan being used as a Travellers site now and for the future.
My main objection would be the access from the site of Traveller vehicles onto what is now a very busy road.
It is the only road leading from the West to a usually packed Trostre shopping area. There would be an increase in the traffic within the next year and a half due to the new building of Pentre Awel. This would affect the traffic flow and road safety on a very busy road.
There have been over 100 objections so far by residents regarding lack of privacy, conservation and environmental damage and also the impact on traffic and those residents themselves.
There is a lack of lighting, also no cctv.
There could be social community problems, where there could be a community impact on the travellers themselves by existing residents who have opposed the site.
Possibly seen as a blight for visitors that visit Trostre Enterprise Park, and Pentre Awel.
Issues relating to local infrastructures e.g. local schools and health services.
I feel the Penyfan location is not suitable for a travellers site, and should not be earmarked for any prospective planning application.

Disagree, the allocation of the site within the LDP has been subject to full consideration through the site assessment methodology. As part of this assessment process a detailed site pro forma has been prepared. Further evidential work will be submitted as part of the submission documents to inform the examination
