The respondent states that this would extend the settlement to the north of Fforest considerably along Llanedi Road and exacerbate the ribbon development that Planning Policy Wales says should be avoided. The respondent adds that it should be noted that on this site there are springs and vegetation, including osiers, that are associated with wet land; so there are concerns about drainage problems arising for the wider area if the land is built upon.
