AHOM1: Provision of Affordable Homes
Object to the removal of the reference to variation if there are impacts upon a proposal’s financial viability. This objection is to ensure that schemes can remain deliverable if unforeseen circumstances arise which were not accounted for in the LDP Viability studies. An example of this would be the impact of the current Nitrates position in the County. Note the reference in MAC033 INF1: Planning Obligations

Noted. Reference is made to the new paragraph set out within AHOM1 (MAC023) which makes provision for the affordable housing target percentage within the policy to be a target to be used as a starting point for affordable housing negotiations. Further clarity will be provided out within the Affordable Housing Supplementary Planning Guidance.
