Testun llawn:

Pembrey has become an important go to off road site for equestrians to go as local communities in Carmarthenshire have become inaccessible due to heavy traffic making riders fear for their safety riding on the road. Currently access is available to riders on the coast path , beach and forestry. However access could be provided elsewhere on the Pembrey Peninsula for equestrians. Getting to the area is becoming increasingly difficult as Active Travel routes do not welcome horses and the A484 is extremely dangerous to ride a horse on or take children on ponies to the riding centre for lessons. Parking at Pembrey for equestrians is inadequate and has been reduced following the implementation of charging for parking in Factory Road. Only 3 places are available for horse trailers and the area is also used by cars. There was a significant response to the consultation by equestrians which reflect the demand for access to horses in this area as a safe place to ride. There is also a separate need for parking for those buying permits to ride in Pembrey forest.
