Respondent: Mr and Mrs S.P.S Franks

Representation Summary:

Objection - High volume of quarry lorries driving at speed from 6:50am to 17:30 Monday to Friday and some on a Saturday morning. This a dangerous part of the road being on a corner with narrow road and limited passing.

The site suffers from Japanese Knotweed.

The village does not have any local amenities and it would increase traffic on an already congested road.

The site does not have a safe access in to and out of the site.

No drainage and suffers from flooding.

Loss of wildlife, tree and hedgerows which have meant it is now a complete eyesore.

Negative impact on the rural village.

Houses in this village are already difficult to sell due to the location and volume of dangerous quarry lorries.
