Rwyf innau a mwyafrif trigolion Llan-gain yn gwrthwynebu defnyddio Dôl-y-dderwen fel mynedfa i'r safle. Mae'n safle sylweddol a byddai'r traffig ychwanegol yn achosi dirywiad difrifol yn amodau byw trigolion Dôl-y-dderwen oherwydd natur gyfyng y ffordd bresennol. Mae ateb cyfleus ar gael, sef gosod amod cynllunio I'r datblygwr orfod ehangu Heol-y-llan, sy'n arwain yn uniongyrchol at y safle o'r B4312, yn fynedfa iddo. If the current application for 36 dwellings is approved, Llangain will have taken at least its fair share of residential development. Any further such development would adversely affect the community and area of Llangain.

There are already problems in Dol y Dderwen due to people parking on the pavements, making pedestrians and mobility scooter access difficult. We have raised this at the consultation stage and will continue to contest it before the planning committee. People in Llangain are dependent on cars and some homes have up to three vehicles. The many delivery and service vehicles for the aging residents cause problems which could only be worse by adding the traffic for an initial 36 new homes, to be increased up to 70 in the second phase - as in the LDP.

Extension of the development on land south of Dolydderwen.
The Community Council has already expressed its concerns regarding the first stage, of the development currently in the planning application process,and would wish to emphasise that such a extension would further exacerbate the traffic problems going through Dolydderwen and through the village .
