I object to the proposed inclusion of this parcel of land in the LDP on
grounds of endangering biodiversity and obstructing wild life corridors, as
well as changing the character of this area in a way that impinges on the
many people who use the area for health and leisure.

1 There is very poor road access to the proposed site. Springfield Road is very narrow (effectively single lane) and has no pavement. The adjoining Wellfield and Longacre Roads are also very narrow. Access via Penlan Road and Parc y Delyn is very poor. There are school pickup/drop off spots at either end of Wellfield and Longacre Roads.
2 There is no requirement for additional houses in the area. A large site above Lluest y Bryn has remained undeveloped since planning permission was granted. In addition a very large housing development is underway at the western edge of Carmarthen.

This site is unsuitable for development due to presence of springs on the site and inadequate vehicular access.
