I object to the inclusion of this site in the LDP as follows:
The site has a mining ventilation shaft which is a scheduled ancient monument ( Cadw). The extent of the surrounding mineworks will mean the ground is highly likely to be unstable for housing development and for the associated drainage infrastructure.
As mentioned in the current LDP the site falls within the special landscape area Pembrey Mountain. This landscape importance and character would be destroyed by housing development . There are many other candidate sites which would be more appropriate and less damaging to the area if developed.
