Site Location:
Land at Mounthill Farm, rear of Brynhyfryd and off Roman Road.
Objections relating to residential development sites identified in the Llangunnor area:
Housing demand: question need for such large amount of additional dwellings in the proposed sites.
Transport/Traffic: Llangunnor not a sustainable area due to limited facilities and relies on accessing support, health needs and recreational facilities via personal transport. Severe road congestion around Ysgol Llangynnwr and Pensarn - additional traffic will add to current chaotic situation.
Environment: Loss of valuable and productive agricultural land. Significant detrimental impact on the Pibwr valley landscape and its biodiversity and the historical Roman Road area.
Infrastructure: serious concerns regarding: sewerage operations, surface water drainage contributing to flooding, inadequate road network.
