Representation Summary:
The scale of the proposed development is overly excessive when considering the current footprint of developed land in the immediate adjacent area. If the proposed size of the area was more modest, perhaps one hectare, this would be far more acceptable to consider.
Furthermore, wildlife including Great Crested Newts and Hedgehogs have been recorded in the area (Roman Park). A development of this scale could potentially displace this wildlife by removing a significant portion of their habitat and put additional pressure on their populations which are of national importance.
