This would be a major extension to the planned affordable houses at the western end of Garreglwyd, and as such would be too much of an impact on traffic through Garreglwyd and onto the A484. The land is low-lying so drainage would be a problem and is likely to have the affect of increasing the risk of flooding to nearby properties and to the footpath and cycle track along the old railway line. The sewerage system is already overloaded and this development would only worsen the situation.
