Infrastructure:
The road is inadequate to cope with the increased volume of traffic. The village of Llangennech already has a raft of traffic calming measures, increasing the number of cars would negate this.
There are currently issues with low water pressure and there have been problems with the sewerage system not being able to cope with the volume of water run off. This contributes to flooding in the village of Llangennech.
Environmental:
By turning the farmland to residential use, water would run off instead of being absorbed into the ground. This increases the risk of flooding downhill from this development.
