I object to the inclusion of this land in the development plan for the following reasons:
This land is the last open space between Pembrey and Burry Port. If this and other candidate sites are developed, Pembrey would become part of the Llanelli-Pwll-Burry Port sprawl.
Development would impinge upon the status of the Pembrey Mountain Special Landscape Area.
Extra residents would put strain on the already stretched health and school facilities.
If access to any development is via Mumbles Head Park then this would cause disturbance for the residents and exacerbate the already hazardous traffic on the narrow Mountain Road.
