While I understand the need for housing, I do not believe that Drefach would benefit from the total development put forward in the LDP. If development was to constitute 100% affordable housing or council housing that would be more acceptable. We need affordable housing for local people. otherwise our heritage and the Welsh language will die.

Drefach village development sites would be unsuitable and put extra burden on utilities and amenities. Including:
1. Water supply.
2. Sewerage.
3. Facilities at surgery - access to doctors, nurses etc. already limited.
4. Dental care availability.
5. School capacity for primary and secondary school pupils.
6. Traffic problems due to increase in volume.
7. Parking facilities outside houses causing use of nearby streets.
8. Lack of local employment.
9. Change ethos and character of the village into non-Welsh speaking losing present Welsh language and community spirit.
10. Change landscape, sites are locate on green fields rather than brown sites.

Mi fyddai'r datblygiad yma yn cael effaith niweidiol iawn ar y y pentref sydd yn barod yn drwm gan draffig ar wahanol gyfnodau o'r dydd. Mae'r lleoliad yma gerllaw yr ysgol Gynradd, ac mae problemau traffig difrifol yno'n barod yn amharu ar ddiogelwch y disgyblion. Byddai hyn yn gwaethygu'r sefyllfa
A oes yna isadeiledd digonol yn y pentref i gwrdd a gofynion y datblygiad hwn?
A ydych wedi rhoi ystyriaeth i effaith y datblygiad hwn ar yr iaith Gymraeg ym mhentref Drefach. Ar hyn o bryd mae canran o tua 64% o bobl Drefach yn medru ac yn defnyddio'r Gymraeg.

Part of this site will be used for access to a development which recently gained planning permission. Local residents would not want to see any further development at this site due to further loss of green space.
