Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

A housing development was proposed of this site approximately 2007 and refused and, whilst the current application refers to a substantial reduction in the number of proposed properties, I believe this will a precursor to further applications resulting in a substantially increased development.

This is known and designated flood plain - one of the reasons for the failure of the 2007 application. Should houses eventually be built in this area, one assumes that some, if not all, will require mortgages. If this is the case, who will supply the insurances against flooding from the adjacent river? It is common knowledge that storm water drainage in the village centre is already under immense pressure due to existing developments on the flood zone and villagers are constantly in fear of flooding due to climate change and, more importantly, possible damage to 2 No water mains, one of which 48" in diameter, which run through the adjacent playing fields.

Schools in the area known to be operating at full capacity and further developments such as SR/139/001 and SR/139/002 in village are going to exacerbate the problem.
