Representation Summary:

I object to more development in this area as we are already experiencing sewage and surface water flooding due to inadequate sewage and surface water drainage. This situation needs to be addressed before any furthur strain is put on the system, residentail or business.

Site at North road adjacent and North to Llys y Brennin. SR/163/001
There is existing traffic calming at the potential access to this site and the main concern is the lack of capacity for surface water off flow. Currently the site discharges into a ditch on private park land owned in trust for the residents. During rainfall this ditch floods over the pathway and into the base of gardens of at Llys y Brennin but mainly into the garage of the property on North road. The discharge from the candidate site is a major inflow and causes the water to rise so rapidly. Water would need to be diverted towards the Afon Gronw to the East to ensure flooding of the property on the corner and garden flooding be alleviated. Alternatively a significant on site drainage scheme is needed. I am advised the garage has been recently raised to protect it from some incidents.
