Representation Summary:

In summary, I strongly object to this planning request as it wil have a significant impact on congestion/parking, being able to obtain timely healthcare, a detrimental effect on the local wildlife, a sewerage & surface water drainage network that won't be able to cope with the extra demand & being able to get school places for children within the villages.

Representation Summary:

This site increases traffic congestion and air pollution. The infrastructure is inadequate at peak times, further traffic increases this problem. The schools are under pressure now further population increases this problem, the same applies to the surgery and Hospitals.
Where is there a limit to traffic and population. We are loosing our environment, the wild life is being pushed out, our green areas being reduced, the by removing the co2 balancing plants. The farm is in decline at the moment, but the need for food production will return, if there is no land for food production where do we go

Representation Summary:

All the schools in the area are already full. There are not enough places even for the Persimmon site. Which schools will the children go if there will be more houses in addition to the approximately 250 houses in the Persimmon site? There will be a lot of young children expected to come, and there aren't any parks in the area either! Also, the roads are too narrow. We have problems getting out of our street to go anywhere even now. Just building houses without considering the capacity of public services and infrastructure is not wise. Please reconsider. Thank you.

Representation Summary:

Insufficient/Inadequate infrastructure
Nursery and schools are already oversubscribed with local people failing to find places for their children.
Drainage/sewerage issues
Llangennech already incredibly congested at all times of the day
Disastrous consequences to wildlife (already dispossessed of multiple sites as a result of large new builds on farmland).
We currently have numerous large builds going on in Bynea & Bryn - infrastructure will not survive further new builds.

Object to further development in Bryn. There is potential for 1,000+ new residents all requiring health care, schooling, nursery, community services and transport links. None of these are currently in place.

There is also a requirement for land for food / crops in the face of leaving the EU.

We believe the level of residential development in the area is seriously getting out of control to the detriment of the local communities, current & future & needs to be carefully controlled.

Respondent: Cllr Gwyneth Thomas

Representation Summary:

Fel y Cynghorydd Sir ar ran Ward Llangennech rwy'n credu'n gryf bod pentref Llangennech, gan ei fod yn agos at Gyffordd 48 o draffordd yr M4, wedi cael ei or - ddatblygu dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf. Mae yr holl dai sydd wedi cael eu hadeiladu wedi achosi problemau traffig mawr ar hyd y B4297 trwy'r pentref ac yn enwedig ar hyd yr A4138 wrth i 'r holl gerbydau geisio cyrraedd yr M4.
Ni ddylid ganiatau rhagor o dai heb gymryd ystyriaeth llawn o sut mae hyn yn mynd i effeithio'r traffig ar hyd yr heolydd yma.

As the County Councillor on behalf of Llangennech Ward, I strongly believe that the village of Llangennech, as it is near to Junction 48 from the M4 motorway, has been over developed over the last few years. All of the houses that have been built have caused significant traffic problems along the B4297 through the village and especially along the A4138 as all of the vehicles attempt to reach the M4.
No more houses should be permitted without giving full consideration to how this will affect the traffic along these roads.
