Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

St Clears Town Council fully support the inclusion of this land within the LDP for the stated purpose. St Clears has been short listed from 46 to the final 12 locations on the prioritised list of stations which will be taken forward for further development. As such, it should be ensured that land to provide a station is included with the LDP, at the previous site. The station would benefit those who live and work in St Clears and surrounding communities, directly linking the town to Pembrokeshire, Carmarthen, Swansea, Cardiff and London.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

SWTRA have already confirmed that they intend to build a cycleway / footpath along the north side of the A40 between St Clears and Bancyfelin in the mid term. This has been a problematic gap in the West Wales cycle network for a long time. In addition to closing the gap in the cycle network, it would join together two communities who share a local council but are cut off by the A40. At present the only way to travel between the two communities easily is by car. Many people, both local and tourist stand to benefit from this.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The respondent make the following general comments, separately from submissions relating to individual candidate sites:

The Town Council would like to reiterate concerns expressed about the impact of large developments in the town. At present, the infrastructure struggles to cope with the current load, particularly the sewers and also surface water, all causing flooding problems on a more frequent basis.
Additionally, the roads could also struggle to cope with large developments.

Also, there would be increased pressure on the local primary school and on the ability of the local surgery to register more patients.
