Laugharne Township Community Council object to residential development on this land as Cross Inn is a small scattered hamlet and this area would greatly increase its size disproportionally. It constitutes ribbon development along a dangerous road and extends the community limits rather than infilling.

Cross Inn is a small scattered hamlet running along the main road. The community council object as this site extends the boundary of the hamlet and the majority of the space lies behind the main building line and would change significantly the character of the settlement.

Laugharne Township Community Council object to the inclusion of this land as Cross Inn is a small community of scattered houses and this is a large development site which if developed would adversely affect the character of the community. It enlarges thee limits of the hamlet and is adjacent to a busy road by a junction. The development would be out of proportion to the character and scale of the present community.

Any development on this site would be inappropriate and join the settlmes of Laugharne and Broadway.
