Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Object to further development in Bryn. There is potential for 1,000+ new residents all requiring health care, schooling, nursery, community services and transport links. None of these are currently in place.

Both these fields are cultivated annually with cattle and sheep grazing at Penllwyngwyn Farm in the winter months. There is also a requirement for land for food / crops in the face of leaving the EU.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Loss of green belt and becoming a concrete jungle, wild birds (red kite) feeding and nesting in fields. Merging of Bryn and Llangennech villages. Doctor's surgeries have become overcrowded and not enough school places.

Road network would not be able to cope with extra traffic which is already dangerous

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Building is already encroaching on SR/086/039.; Any more would result in excessive loss of green belt. Loss of green belt resulting in no demarcation between Bryn and Llangennech, adversely affecting nature in the area, and putting an overload on schools, surgeries and the ability of roadways to cope with the huge increase in traffic.

The only acceptable and sensible change would be no change unless the objective is to completely ruin one of the most attractive green unspoilt areas in the vicinity.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

1. Doctors surgeries are already over subscribed and its very difficult for people to get appointment.
2. Education - schools are already full with over large classes - pre school playgroups are not available - causing working mothers problems.
3. The green belt dividing Bryn and Llangennch will be lost thus creating - one village - whereas we would wish to be separate.
4. Habitate for wildlife will be lost including nesting.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

1. Against residential development as in No. 1 on the (attached document)
2. Road network unable to cope with increased traffic
3. Disastrous/irrevocable consequences to wildlife
4. Inadequate drainage/sewerage
5. Difficulty getting GP/healthcare appointments
6. Insufficient/inadequate school places

We believe the level of residential development in the area is seriously getting out of control to the detriment of the local communities, current & future & needs to be carefully controlled.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

1. An erosion of the green belt area which separates Bryn village and Llangennech village.

2. Heavy traffic through from M4, already feeding a busy catchment built-up area.

3. Increasing noise from main road traffic, made worse by speed bumps.

4. Area is oversubscribed for Doctor surgery, dentist and schools.

5. Increasing onroad parking with traffic frequently using Penllwyngwyn Drive, small junction to turn back onto the main road, often obstructed with parked cars.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I object to the proposals for the following reasons: -
1. To join Bryn and Llangennech is unacceptable, a green belt buffer is required.
2. Ribbon development on this side of Penllwyngwyn Road is bad planning
3. Sites SR/086/038 and SR/086/028 are good quality agricultural land
4. Bryn is not a growth pole only development land for local need should be zoned.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Infrastructure concerns (problems already in existence) for health care, education, road structure - for access on and off M4 and towards Llanelli Town Area.

Environmental problems open spaces and agricultural land. Important to maintain existing green spaces (what is left of them).

Carmarthenshire would loose even more of long standing reputation of being predominantly an agricultural county.

Population of West Glam claiming dwellings in Carmarthenshire for easy access to M4 - a cheaper cost of living.

Ymatebydd: Cllr Gwyneth Thomas

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Fel y Cynghorydd Sir ar ran Ward Llangennech rwy'n credu'n gryf bod pentref Llangennech, gan ei fod yn agos at Gyffordd 48 o draffordd yr M4, wedi cael ei or - ddatblygu dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf. Mae yr holl dai sydd wedi cael eu hadeiladu wedi achosi problemau traffig mawr ar hyd y B4297 trwy'r pentref ac yn enwedig ar hyd yr A4138 wrth i 'r holl gerbydau geisio cyrraedd yr M4.
Ni ddylid ganiatau rhagor o dai heb gymryd ystyriaeth llawn o sut mae hyn yn mynd i effeithio'r traffig ar hyd yr heolydd yma.

As the County Councillor on behalf of Llangennech Ward, I strongly believe that the village of Llangennech, as it is near to Junction 48 from the M4 motorway, has been over developed over the last few years. All of the houses that have been built have caused significant traffic problems along the B4297 through the village and especially along the A4138 as all of the vehicles attempt to reach the M4.
No more houses should be permitted without giving full consideration to how this will affect the traffic along these roads.
