There is considerable concern in the village of Drefach with regards to the number of proposed candidate sites in the area.
With regards to SR/ 049/ 017, residents feel that this would be an unacceptable development outside of the village's natural boundary.

These are on green belt & would alter the character of the village & there would be a loss of prime farming land. Also it would reduce the gap between Drefach & Cefneithin & potentially it would merge two villages. There is also a parcel of land (not numbered) on bend opposite the primary school - which is in a vey dangerous spot for access.

Also it would reduce the gap between Drefach and Cefneithin and it could potentially merge at a later date. There is also a parcel of land (not numbered) on bend opposite Primary school in a very dangerous sport for access.
