I am somewhat dismayed to read that the grassed area in the Nant y Dderwen estate is under consideration as a site for further housing on the estate. This area is currently used extensively by the young children on the estate as a play area, and to lose it would leave only the road round the estate for this activity. The children are mostly under 7 years old and would need parental supervision to get to, and play in the somewhat limited council provided facility adjacent to the soccer pitch. I am therefore opposed to this proposal.
