During the past five to ten years, there have been so many houses built in the Penygroes, Gorslas, Cefneithin and Cross Hands area which further puts strain on to the A476 Llandeilo Road and Gorslas square. The aim of the Cross Hands Economic Link Road Phase 2, "providing traffic and safety benefits on the A476 Llandeilo Road and the associated junctions at Gorslas square and A48 roundabout" seems flimsy at its best. What should be done, as well refusing the two sites mentioned, SR/067/015 and SR/067/008, and should have been done many years ago, is built a fly-over at the Cross Hands roundabout for the A47 which is at present, an accident hot-spot.
