Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The respondent opposes on the basis of a range of concerns. It is submitted that the village of Pembrey is unable to support a development such as this and there will be a detrimental impact. It is stated that the land is used for agriculture all year round and there will also be a loss of green fields and open spaces leading to a loss of the area's rural character. There is concern at inadequate drainage, including the overloading of a current system which is already experiencing problems in heavy rain.

Reference is also made to an increased road use and higher volume of traffic. It is claimed that there is already considerable congestion on the A484 from Pwll onwards, with problems pronounced in the summer (particularly when there are events in the County Park and Motor Sports Centre). The respondent claims that shortcuts are used by motorists which are dangerous. It is claimed that expansion would also put added pressure on local services - including schools and GP surgery.
