There are already existing issues in the area with flooding during heavy rain periods which would be exasperated by any future developments. The village and roads through to Llanelli do not have the infrastructure to cope with a large amount of additional traffic which will undoubtedly spill onto the mountain roads which are again not deigned for heavy traffic volume. The existing sewers are already nearing full capacity. The schools , doctors , dentists in Burry Port are already turning customers away.
The village simply does not have the logistics to cope with additional developments.
