As a resident of Pembrey I understand the need for additional housing, and that the Council has targets. This large development is too large for the village and would cause serious traffic issues. Such large developments should be accompanied with appropriate infrastructure developments, such as a bypass, but rarely are. There are serious ground water issues here and to remove the natural soak-away of the fields and replace with hard standing would cause further problems.
