I object to the inclusion of this land in the development plan for the following reasons:
1) Loss of the last open space between Pembrey and Burry Port.
2) Extra residents would put strain on the already stretched health and school facilities.
3) If access to any development is via Mumbles Head Park then this would cause disturbance for the residents and exacerbate the already hazardous traffic on the narrow Mountain Road.
4) Runoff from this land has frozen on the A484 causing hazardous driving conditions.
5) There is a Scheduled Ancient Monument (CM267 Colliery Ventilation Furnace) within the site.
