SR/114/002 lies to the north of the settlement of Milo. As such, any built development of the site, rather than reading as a logical complement to the existing built form or as 'rounding off' would to the contrary, read as an urban encroachment 'outside' of the settlement and
protruding into an area of undeveloped land, which has a semi-rural character. It is considered that the
proposed development would have an eroding impact on the character of the open countryside and local landscape character by reason of its 'outside' positioning and would have a detrimental impact on the settlement character.
Furthermore, the site lies considerably further from the existing bus stops within Milo at approximately 450m to either site.
