The local infrastructure cannot cope with this including sewage removal , roads or schools as this area of land would mean around 300 houses if a comparison is taken with the normal density of new builds.

In the local area the roads are already congested, with the development of more housing road congestion will increase, leading to health issues and possible accidents.
There are no more available school places
Demand for medical services, including a doctor is high now and with additional homes being developed demand will increase.
The area is over developed now, there are few employment opportunities for the local area.
Local services, such as sewerage are stretched now. More housing will place even more pressure on services.
There is a potential for environmental damage which could affect local wildlife.

if you were to build on this land, it would have disastarous consequences for wildlife which has already relocated in recent years due to the area being built upon, such as bryn uchaf and the currenct site ( persimmon site) Sighting of bats in this area. this land has salways been green!
There is also insufficient infrastructure, our roads are max to capacity and also sewege! the system can't cope with any more homes!!!
The road network would not be able to cope with any extra traffic.
insufficient school places, lack of healthcare

There should be no more residential development in the Bryn area. The infrastructure is insufficient, healthcare support such as doctors surgeries are lacking, local schools are already at maximum capacity and people are having to travel out of the area for schools, there is already inadequate drainage in the lower village and flooding is frequent, the road network is already straining Especially the M4 junction, Wildlife and their habitat is constantly being displaced such as protected bat species.

This area has already been overdeveloped with one very big housing estate in progress still. Road traffic and pollution has increased. Sewerage and drainage issues have been a problem in the past. Schools are uncle to cope at present with classes too large and no nursery places available. Health services are struggling, GP practices are overcrowded and appointments difficult to obtain. PPH hospital has been downgraded with the nearest proper A and E in Carmarthen. Wildlife will be affected and lost. Villages will be merged eventually with loss of history and community

1) Lack of infrastructure ~ no bus route, inadequacy of through road for additional traffic, lack of places available at local school, difficulty in obtaining local GP registration, inadequacy of water and sewage provision.
2) Area already over developed with Persimmon site still ongoing for years hence. Established residents already subjected to years of disruption, noise and air pollution from current development so cars and houses constantly covered in dust etc
3) Even more importantly ~ the IMMORALITY of utilizing open green spaces of working agricultural land for housing development and changing nature of edge of town living. STRONGLY OBJECT!

8 years living in Bynea and work at Gowerton. Travel to work when first moved here was good with no traffic and only took 10 minute. Now it takes up to half hour to travel from my house to Gowerton and you propose to increase the development. That's a long time to travel for only 4 miles. I see a lot of foxes running around the streets due to the developments pushing them out. With the proposed developments Are you going to upgrade sewer systems, phone lines roads, schools, doctors ect. Can't get an appointment with the doctors now

My main two points on these objections now are that there is absolute insufficient and inaequate infrastructure to cope with any extra housing in this area and then the road network is totally unable to cope with extra traffic (llangennech already incredibly congested at all times of the day) - any more cars coming through could be very dangerous to the local community. PLEASE THINK

Bryn/Bynea has been subject to a high volume of residential development with over
300 homes being built in the last 4 years, with the pressure that this has
brought to bear on infrastructure and services.
The proposed site is directly opposite a c.200 unit residential development currently being built by Persimmon.

I have concerns regarding the following - the infrastructure for the area is both inadequate and insufficient for the expected population increase should these developments go ahead.
Schools in the area are already close to full capacity for existing residents.
Concerns regarding inadequate drainage and specifically sewerage issues need clarification and comprehensive investigation.
Healthcare, doctors surgeries have limited registration places available.
Road network is not suitable for this volume of traffic, turning right out of Bryn Uchaf is already an issue at the beginning and end of the working day.

For the following reasons I object -
Road from Bryn to Bynea will be unable to cope with the increased volume of traffic.
Local schools are already close to capacity
Doctors surgeries are also close to capacity.
No reassurances given regarding sewerage and drainage.
Bryn, Bynea and Llangennech should not be overdeveloped into urbanisations.

The roads in the area are not able to support an increase in traffic, the same applies to our schools, Doctor's surgeries and drainage systems.
Also the environmental consequences; the destruction of beautiful green space and damage to wildlife. There are brown/derelict sites in the County which need improving and could be used. The health implications on residents of increased traffic through our villages. I feel the need for extra housing is not in our area but in other parts of the Country, many houses are taking so long to be sold, this does not reflect a housing shortage here.

We object to any further development on the grounds that resources in the area are already over stretched for example it is currently extremely difficult to get a doctor appointment, the schools are already full to capacity and since the new estate has arrived it has added 30 mins to a journey to reach the M4 . We have precious little agricultural land left and further building would destroy the natural habitat of the wonderful wildlife we have. Please register this strong objection to this proposed development

Insufficient/Inadequate Infrastructure
Lack of Healthcare i.e. places in Doctors Surgeries
Insufficient/Inadequate School Places (current residents finding it impossible to find nursery/school spaces)
Inadequate drainage/sewerage issues
Road network unable to copy with extra traffic
Disastrous consequences to wildlife (already dispossessed of multiple sites as a result of large new builds on farmland).
We currently have numerous large builds going on - creaking infrastructure will not survive further new builds.

In summary, I strongly object to this planning request as it wil have a significant impact on congestion/parking, being able to obtain timely healthcare, a detrimental effect on the local wildlife, a sewerage & surface water drainage network that won't be able to cope with the extra demand & being able to get school places for children within the villages.

Already problems disposing of surface water and sewage.
Flood risk to properties down in Bynea.
Lack of road infrastructure many more additional cars using Station Road, , Genwen Road, the Penygraig area, and Heol y Mynydd and further traffic congestion problems in Bynea, Llangennech, Bryn, Pemberton and Llwynhendy.
Planning application at Gwndwm Mawr, Station Road, Bynea turned down by the Planning Committee saying "generates an unacceptable level of traffic on the surrounding road network which would reduce highway safety on the network or reduce the amenity of residents along the route,"

I object because there are already 240 new Persimmon Homes being built off Penderri Road. The road infrastructure cannot cope with extra volume of traffic joining the main roads at Station Road, Bynea and the Llangennech/Bryn Road at the junction of Heol Mynydd. Surgeries and Bryn, Bynea, Llwynhendy schools are at capacity and cannot contain their current standards.

2. Access & Egress to the site opposite another new built site.
3. Insufficient and inadequate infrastructure to cope with the amount of houses that would be built.
4. Where are the children going to go to school?
5. Are the people moving in able to register with local Doctors Surgery?
