Representation Summary:

Drefach village development sites would be unsuitable and put extra burden on utilities and amenities. Including:
1. Water supply.
2. Sewerage.
3. Facilities at surgery - access to doctors, nurses etc. already limited.
4. Dental care availability.
5. School capacity for primary and secondary school pupils.
6. Traffic problems due to increase in volume.
7. Parking facilities outside houses causing use of nearby streets.
8. Lack of local employment.
9. Change ethos and character of the village into non-Welsh speaking losing present Welsh language and community spirit.
10. Change landscape, sites are locate on green fields rather than brown sites.

Site is too big compared to the size of village. Planning for houses nearby has already been granted therefore no need for more houses in the vicinity.

Representation Summary:

This will reduce the green belt of Drefach.
I have concerns of loss of character, Impact on the Welsh Language.
Is there a local demand for such extensive housing development in Drefach which is not sympathetic to local needs.
Increased traffic and pressures on local infrastructure can they cope?
These houses will be built for external demand bring in lots or retired people from outside Wales increase strain on limited local health and social resources
