Respondent: Mr William Loynton

Representation Summary:

I have been resident in Cwmifor for 43 years. The application contains a play area which has been in place for 38 years. The site was originally leased from Stradey Park Estate for over 20 years until it was sold privately. A substantial amount of capital was raised by the community to clear the site as it was totally overgrown. It has been extensively used over the period by children and people of the community. If this site is to be included in the LDP the possibility of losing the play area would be a big loss to the community.
