Representation Summary:

I oppose all building work in Betws. Residential or otherwise.

This Road is by far too busy already. The traffic is constantly speeding down that road. It is too busy and too built up!
There is the hairdresser, and now the beauticians upstairs, a cylch in the church and the school.
Quite frankly, we're fed up of the road!
My other reason is that it will most definitely spoil the countryside and spoil the view, not to mention the wildlife.
There is already a new build massive site just opposite the nursing home. We do not need another.

Representation Summary:

I & my neighbours are extremely concerned about what it means for people 'on the ground' living near the Candidate Sites, particularly SR/004/035 & SR/004/022.

These are relatively large plots of land that up until now have been agricultural. Concern is also raised for the rest of Betws.

The concerns relate to the erosion of agricultural/rural land and the pressure on services. Over the years there has been a huge amount of development in the area.

Other matters of concerns are: loss of natural habitat for wildlife including woodland, trees & hedges; drainage; road capacity; impact on Public footpaths; Sewerage.

Representation Summary:

Objection to any further development in the Betws area in the foreseeable future based on increased traffic on narrow roads and the eradication of yet more rural areas. There is enough housing in the area the problem is affordable housing which this development would nor solve.

Representation Summary:

Woodlands Park is a quiet residential estate and has a home for the elderly at the entrance whose residents - at the moment - are able to enjoy SAFE wheelchair walks.

Traffic is already becoming an issue on Colonel Road with new housing—the question of access will arise. We are all aware of the increase in sewerage problems, which obviously get much worse.

We also understand that public footpaths could be lost along with hedgerows and therefore loss of wildlife in general. It seems likely that we would lose our peaceful, semi-rural outlook
