The copse of woodland at upper Brandyway is special as the community home to rare song birds, owls, other birds of prey, various small mammals, toads, and a wide range of local flora. It is not accessed by the public, hence its natural splendour and thriving eco-system. The council tried years ago to infringe the site for housing and found it unworthwhile - but causing site damage still visible. It is not suitable for residential development and it is essential to protect and safeguard this uncommon wildlife and arboreal habitat from diminution and destruction. Legal environmental protections should apply.

We (along with the elderly neighbours) feel that this development will affect the current drainage on the street as well as take away the quiet tranquil street that we live on with our young family.
