Can't see how the existing building could be used for retail purposes, given the old High school building is being demolished for the new primary school. It would be sad to see this demolished to make way for a shop, especially given the number of vacant shops in the centre of town. Turn it into a community centre with allotments on the playing fields. The road is already very busy and adding more traffic to that junction would be unsafe given the location to the new primary school and the increase in children and parents using the junctions and crossing.
