Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

In the local area the roads are already congested, with the development of more housing road congestion will increase, leading to health issues and possible accidents.
There are no more available school places
Demand for medical services, including a doctor is high now and with additional homes being developed demand will increase.
The area is over developed now, there are few employment opportunities for the local area.
Local services, such as sewerage are stretched now. More housing will place even more pressure on services.
There is a potential for environmental damage which could affect local wildlife.

if you were to build on this land, it would have disastarous consequences for wildlife which has already relocated in recent years due to the area being built upon, such as bryn uchaf and the currenct site ( persimmon site) Sighting of bats in this area. this land has salways been green!
There is also insufficient infrastructure, our roads are max to capacity and also sewege! the system can't cope with any more homes!!!
The road network would not be able to cope with any extra traffic.
insufficient school places, lack of healthcare

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

There should be no more residential development in the Bryn area. The infrastructure is insufficient, healthcare support such as doctors surgeries are lacking, local schools are already at maximum capacity and people are having to travel out of the area for schools, there is already inadequate drainage in the lower village and flooding is frequent, the road network is already straining Especially the M4 junction, Wildlife and their habitat is constantly being displaced such as protected bat species.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Infrastructure is completely inadequate to support further residential development.
Healthcare system is overloaded - local surgery has stopped taking new patients.
Lack of primary school places - English medium schools have stopped intake presently.
Inadequate sewerage system - difficulties already with partly completed Persimmon site at Penderri road - fears were raised to you at the consultation stage.
Concerns over drainage/flooding risks especially on sloped land.
Road network will be unable to cope with increased traffic - congestion at times presently.
Concerns over wildlife being decimated in time.
Concerns over the estuary being further polluted by sewerage overspill.

Inadequate sewerage system - problems already at Persimmon site in Penderri road - as warned during consultation.
Dangers of worsening flooding/drainage issues.
Road system already unable to cope at certain times. M4 J48 is already a nightmare.
Local wildlife will be decimated in time.
Estuary problems will be exacerbated-concerns over further pollution by sewerage.

Already developed anywhere area how many houses do we need in Bynea is there no land anywhere else in Carmarthenshire? No places in Bynea school now for children already living in the area. G.P surgery can't cope with the current residents.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

My main two points on these objections now are that there is absolute insufficient and inaequate infrastructure to cope with any extra housing in this area and then the road network is totally unable to cope with extra traffic (llangennech already incredibly congested at all times of the day) - any more cars coming through could be very dangerous to the local community. PLEASE THINK

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The roads in the area are not able to support an increase in traffic, the same applies to our schools, Doctor's surgeries and drainage systems.
Also the environmental consequences; the destruction of beautiful green space and damage to wildlife. There are brown/derelict sites in the County which need improving and could be used. The health implications on residents of increased traffic through our villages. I feel the need for extra housing is not in our area but in other parts of the Country, many houses are taking so long to be sold, this does not reflect a housing shortage here.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Bynea needs more investment in infrastructure before any further developments take place.
This area, in particular, being developed, will have massive reprocussions further down the line, including the requirement for new primary & secondary schools or large extensions of the existing.
surface water flooding will insue for existing residents.
Mine shafts are networked through the area & have yet to be accurately mapped.

Water pressure issues.

Road safety due to single file traffic & HGVs.

Loss of an area of outstanding beauty including a 250yr old oak tree.

Broadband/fibre/electricity/water supplies already fed through a bottleneck

Insufficient/Inadequate Infrastructure
Lack of Healthcare i.e. places in Doctors Surgeries
Insufficient/Inadequate School Places (current residents finding it impossible to find nursery/school spaces)
Inadequate drainage/sewerage issues
Road network unable to copy with extra traffic
Disastrous consequences to wildlife (already dispossessed of multiple sites as a result of large new builds on farmland).
We currently have numerous large builds going on - creaking infrastructure will not survive further new builds.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

In summary, I strongly object to this planning request as it wil have a significant impact on congestion/parking, being able to obtain timely healthcare, a detrimental effect on the local wildlife, a sewerage & surface water drainage network that won't be able to cope with the extra demand & being able to get school places for children within the villages.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Access into this estate is very restricted with a very narrow entry and narrow roads. It is already congested with cars parked on both sides of the road at the bottom of Station Road. This development, together with the new development on Genwen i.e. 240 houses will increase traffic even further on a narrow and dangerous road causing more accidents.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

1. Against residential development as in No. 1 on the (attached document)
2. Road network unable to cope with increased traffic
3. Disastrous/irrevocable consequences to wildlife
4. Inadequate drainage/sewerage
5. Difficulty getting GP/healthcare appointments
6. Insufficient/inadequate school places

We believe the level of residential development in the area is seriously getting out of control to the detriment of the local communities, current & future & needs to be carefully controlled.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The previous and continuing overdevelopment of Bynea has overwhelmed the existing infrastructure such as sewerage, traffic congestion, local education and health services. Development included on the previous LDP are as yet far from complete.

Once complete these will obviously further exacerbate the lack of facilities to cope with the number and type of additional developments proposed on the candidate site list.

Maintenance of open space and the creation of much needed leisure facilities for the area would be most welcome.

For leisure and recreational purposes only

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Firstly, I am most disappointed to read that the Council Planning are even considering converting green land into residential building, this would make the village into a concrete jungle.
a) Traffic the only access to the proposed development area is via a difficult bend and narrow road at Cwmfelin Road entrance, and at the Bryn another narrow bending entrance
b) Sewerage and drainage totally inadequate at present, would need to be completely updated in event of additional houses.
c) Schools, at present Bynea School is full.
d) Medical, the surgery at Llwynhendy is full are there is a waiting list.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Fel y Cynghorydd Sir ar ran Ward Llangennech rwy'n credu'n gryf bod pentref Llangennech, gan ei fod yn agos at Gyffordd 48 o draffordd yr M4, wedi cael ei or - ddatblygu dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf. Mae yr holl dai sydd wedi cael eu hadeiladu wedi achosi problemau traffig mawr ar hyd y B4297 trwy'r pentref ac yn enwedig ar hyd yr A4138 wrth i 'r holl gerbydau geisio cyrraedd yr M4.
Ni ddylid ganiatau rhagor o dai heb gymryd ystyriaeth llawn o sut mae hyn yn mynd i effeithio'r traffig ar hyd yr heolydd yma.

As the County Councillor on behalf of Llangennech Ward, I strongly believe that the village of Llangennech, as it is near to Junction 48 from the M4 motorway, has been over developed over the last few years. All of the houses that have been built have caused significant traffic problems along the B4297 through the village and especially along the A4138 as all of the vehicles attempt to reach the M4.
No more houses should be permitted without giving full consideration to how this will affect the traffic along these roads.
