The respondent wishes to register a very clear objection to the Local Development Plan 2018-2033. Issues are raised in terms of traffic (a484) with the impact of events in County Park/Motor Sports Centre during the summer particularly pronounced. Reference is also made to Sandy Road, Llanelli.

Concerns are also voiced in terms of drainage, both in terms of localised issues and overall capacity during periods of rainfall - with a recent system failure cited. It is claimed that there are issues in terms of access to medical services, with only 2 doctors covering Pembrey and Burry Port. It is claimed that there are also issues in terms of capacity at local schools. The respondent also raises concern in terms of the availability of infrastructure and states that there are sites in the Garreglwyd area of Pembrey that are outside the set response time for attendance of a fire appliance from Kidwelly or Llanelli.
