Current infrastructure system covering sewage, traffic/roads, medical, schools, is overloaded with the development already taken place over previous years. There is an issue with the erosion of the green belt.

Lack of Healthcare support for more houses
Nursery and schools are already oversubscribed
Drainage/sewerage issues
Llangennech already incredibly congested at all times of the day
Disastrous consequences to wildlife (already dispossessed of multiple sites as a result of large new builds on farmland).
We currently have numerous builds going on in Bynea & Bryn - infrastructure will not survive further new builds.

I object to the change of use to residential land because of the poor ingress and egress of the proposed poor of land.Penlan has very narrow road access

The proposed development would have a severe impact on local roads, congestion and saftey; damage the local environment, wildlife (some 'protected') and their habitats. Local GP and schools already at capacity, will affect drainage and sewerage supplies, where there have already been historical problems.

Object to further development in Bryn. There is potential for 1,000+ new residents all requiring health care, schooling, nursery, community services and transport links. None of these are currently in place.
There is also a requirement for land for food / crops in the face of leaving the EU.

Loss of green belt and becoming a concrete jungle, wild birds (red kite) feeding and nesting in fields. Merging of Bryn and Llangennech villages. Doctor's surgeries have become overcrowded and not enough school places.
Road network would not be able to cope with extra traffic which is already dangerous

1. Effect on traffic. We find it difficult and very dangerous getting out of our drive onto the main road due to the sheer volume of traffic.
2. Effect on nature. We have a number of Red Kites in the field behind us.
3. Effect on schools. Bryn and Llangennech schools are overcrowded
4. Privacy - Overlooking and loss of privacy

Both sites are well known red kite feeding areas, also favourite sites for curlews, endangered in this area. SR/086/028 is on the skyline, also holds a water supply pipe to Penlan Farm. Entrance/exit for both areas would be onto very busy main road. Many old age and infirm residents of Penlan would be adversely affected if these two areas should become building sites.

Infrastructure concerns (problems already in existence) for health care, education, road structure - for access on and off M4 and towards Llanelli Town Area.
Environmental problems open spaces and agricultural land. Important to maintain existing green spaces (what is left of them).
Carmarthenshire would lose even more of long standing reputation of being predominantly an agricultural county. Population of West Glam claiming dwellings in Carmarthenshire for easy access to M4 - a cheaper cost of living.

1. Will the existing Health Care services be sufficient to cope with the extra patients?
2. What will be the availability of suitable school places in the area of Bryn/Bynea/ Llangennech, taking into account that Llangennech school is Welsh only!
3. We have concerns regarding the road network. At peak times there is considerable traffic through Bridge Street Llangennech.

Fel y Cynghorydd Sir ar ran Ward Llangennech rwy'n credu'n gryf bod pentref Llangennech, gan ei fod yn agos at Gyffordd 48 o draffordd yr M4, wedi cael ei or - ddatblygu dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf. Mae yr holl dai sydd wedi cael eu hadeiladu wedi achosi problemau traffig mawr ar hyd y B4297 trwy'r pentref ac yn enwedig ar hyd yr A4138 wrth i 'r holl gerbydau geisio cyrraedd yr M4.
Ni ddylid ganiatau rhagor o dai heb gymryd ystyriaeth llawn o sut mae hyn yn mynd i effeithio'r traffig ar hyd yr heolydd yma.
As the County Councillor on behalf of Llangennech Ward, I strongly believe that the village of Llangennech, as it is near to Junction 48 from the M4 motorway, has been over developed over the last few years. All of the houses that have been built have caused significant traffic problems along the B4297 through the village and especially along the A4138 as all of the vehicles attempt to reach the M4.
No more houses should be permitted without giving full consideration to how this will affect the traffic along these roads.
